Sort of a Xmas album release

Sort of a Christmas album marks new beginnings of various sorts.  Not only is it a time of year where we begin to understand the rewards and punishments that stem from our behavior, but the album itself marks two beginnings for this artist, namely the self taught practice of the ins and outs of two different versions of the music program used to create these works.  The first and last song were created in previous decades whereas the three kit songs were the beginning of my understanding the intricacies of the modern music program which made these releases possible.  Enjoy and Merry Christmas!

the Bad Omen Lands

The word badlands is a calque from the Canadian French phrase les mauvaises terres, as the early French fur traders called the White River badlands les mauvaises terres a traverser or 'bad lands to traverse', perhaps influenced by the Lakota people who moved there in the late 1700s and who referred to the terrain as mako sica, meaning 'bad land' or 'eroded land'.  - Wikipedia

Hiking the Badlands in mid December might be a bad omen of drought to come.

It is next to impossible to scientifically verify metaphysics with all the metaphysical beings and prophecy.  While the book of Revelation with all the speculation it brings can sow division and paranoia, it can also bode of a better future and lessons from the past.  Take for instance the well known article about the wild beast antichrist bearing the number 666.

This calls for wisdom.  Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.  That number is 666.  - Revelation 13:8

King Solomon of Israel was the author of the book of Proverbs.  He was renowned for his wisdom and never to be matched wealth.  In it he wrote:

There are six things the LORD hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
        haughty eyes,
        a lying tongue,
        hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
a false witness who pours out lies
and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.   - Proverbs 6:16-19

The similarity to history's villains and their movements are open to speculation as to who this could apply to, if not portending of one yet to come.

Killing in the name of...

In acknowledging the way, the truth, the life, Jesus Christ; many today have resorted to sidelining Him in their prayer in what could be considered a vanity prayer.  The only way to the Father through Jesus Christ His Son means addressing or praying to/through Jesus Christ His Son (John 14:6).  Unfortunately the basic tenets of Christianity, namely admitting Christ is God (Romans 10:9), are seemingly being lost.  Prophetically in the sermon on the mount, it was foretold of such a mentality and how it would be received:

Midnight Madness 2023

The jubilation of the shopping season is upon us.  Friday November 17 saw the Midnight Madness festivity in downtown Medicine Hat.  Hat's off to the incredible brilliance and originality of jokes of today's Hatters.  Featured here is video footage of the Rockefeller tree lighting and ice sculpting.

In the Spirit of Xmas and in keeping Christ in Christmas, look to the evidence within the gospel when determining sides in today's wars:

In other news, this community in Park Meadows Lane puts on an all in Christmas lighting display each year.  Donations go halfway to the food bank and halfway to maintaining the display.

Stock Market Coffee House

Chalk full of interesting insights and valuable knowledge, these history books are always a delight to read through.  Here we learn of the origins of the Stock Market, although with all the seemingly market manipulation of today's market, they must be getting their coffee in the form of junk food at Starbucks.

Understanding the enemy

I have long felt that the Nazi Germany of the 1930s and 40s were akin to a Muslim Europe.  The obvious similarities in the bestial hatred of Jews and the militarism between the two are compound.  If you have time to read, here is an interesting Wikipedia article dwelling on the subject; or press the photo for a history of how Palestine came to be displaced by Israel.

Hola Cola EP release

It's in the air.  This airy EP reflects much familial politics. The inquisitive first track is prospective of past memories and memorabilia.  The playful Nicky Nicky Nine Doors and the nerdy Fiend or Foe give rise to the epic conclusion 'The Morning People featuring Peggy Wonnenberg' hovering over the melodic riser from these two morning risers.  Enjoy!

On Climate Change and the Theory of Evolution

For those who believe, this scripture comes to mind when current affairs are brought up online and on television.

Trial by fire as it stands for those who tout the rainbow covenant of never being deluged again.  Sometimes it pays to do your homework, if not homeschooling.

Legacy

Was curious as to what the artificial intelligence app ChatGPT made of me so I asked it to write a poem about yours truly.  Seeming to be the only person bearing the name, uniqueness has it's perks.  Pardon the selfie.

The Art of Polite Conversation

My first three results from using the ChatGPT AI app for the first time.  The rule of thumb for polite conversation, is it not to avoid chatting about politics and religion?  Those days appear to be long gone given the intricacies of social media.

Medicine Hat's annual Stampede Parade went off without a hitch.  Or was it a hit?  Either way you look at it, it is an upbeat tradition.

a secular Knight

A secular knight's greatest modern day weapon seems to be his wallet.  We see this where underdog movements are usurping financial thrones as society as a whole adapts to the technologies industry.  Lending context to the catchphrase “go woke, go broke”.

In further news, the residential school mass graves turned to be a hoax, counter to what the wolves of the mainstream media reported.

Bomb Track single release

Having never been party to the slave trade, I have never felt the need to use terminology centred around people as property or people as things.

Bomb track, a single release for your listening pleasure.  In dark of the latest Greta Gerwig movie and given how more money was spent advertising the movie than making it, one would think it was another 911 event being talked about every day on the news even.  Counter to the homosexual propaganda and borderline harassment of those who don’t care, here is a track borrowing from the words of the songwriters Timothy Commerford, Zack M De La Rocha, Thomas B Morello and Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine).

Happy Fother's Day

Many versions of the bible refer to one of the problems plaguing society using the term 'effeminate' what today's world know as transgender.

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?  Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified,  but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Paradise lost and found

With no wildfire smoke to shroud the views, paradise lost has been found again.  A trip to the hills the way it should be as we took the backroads for the scenery this time.  For many, paradise lives in their imaginations.  We prefer to live it in the here and now.

Oh, and happy Father's Day to all us fathers out there in this world.

Thesis on demons

In scripture, the devil is depicted as a serpent ever since the original sin of the first human couple.  The characteristic forked tongue is a symbol of the perverse speech, lies and deceit associated with the fallen angels.  The name Satan means "adversary" or "accuser".  He accuses God's people of doing wrong. (Zechariah 3:1, Revelation 12:10).

One would think that the "unclean spirits," the angels who forsook their original dwelling place and brought about the great deluge or flood upon the earth long ago, are also serpents.  Dwelling in the bowels of a metaphysical dungeon, experience dictates another similar analogy.

e-Concerto album release

An album you will love to hate or hate to love, e-Concerto begins with an experimental recording plunked out on a keyboard gifted from family.  With no music lessons to date, the inherent intro 'Wing It' was drawn purely from inspiration from the afterworld.  The remainder of the album reaches a crescendo of electronic music with 'the Warped Mind'.  The conclusion 'Robot Prayer' speaks to how artificial intelligence (AI) is a reflection of it's influencers.

Medalta Thawed Out Country Festival

"You received freely, give freely”.  It drawl comes to a head at the free show portion of Medalta's Thawed Out Country and Folk Music Festival.  The morning show did not have many spectators, however it made for ideal shooting conditions.

Kalsey Kulyk has been tearing up the country charts with her song, 'Love me like an Outlaw'.  In far from a packed house, she is seen here performing a cover song of Fleetwood Mac's 'Dreams' with her husband Eric Ethridge.

Apple Heart YHWH

Given the difficulty finding Bob Marley's music on Apple Music and the fact they did not release the EP 'Medium: the Mediocre', one can only assume that the folks at Apple have disdain for the ultimate designer, GOD the Father.  Don't let misrepresentation ruin your afterlife.
